The picturesque village of Hartington is a thriving “honey pot” for visitors and tourists throughout every month of the year. It has its own well dressing at the beginning of September and is home to the famous “Hartington Stilton”.
Ash Tree cottage is newly renovated from what was once the “Old Wash house” and “Pigsty” into luxury two bed-roomed accommodations.
Everything is all on one level; we have aimed to make the cottage accessible to all, from families to the less mobile.
We have kept the cottage private from the busy farmyard; it has its own garden and patio area. There’s also parking for two cars. New for 2015 is free wifi .
Nettletor Farm
Nettletor Farm is a busy family run dairy and sheep farm. The family have been here for 4 generations.
We farm 200 acres, milk 70 Holstein Friesians and have 150 breeding ewes.
April especially is a busy month to visit with many guests returning year after year to be here for lambing time.
