Stainsborough Hall

Stainsborough Hall’s four comfortable and stylish self-catering holiday cottages sleep between four and six people – or 20 people in total. With a tennis court, games room, wine bar and playground – we offer everything you could need for a perfect family holiday or a large reunion.

Located on the edge of the Peak District National Park and with direct access to Carsington water, Stainsborough Hall is perfectly positioned to take advantage of everything the area has to offer.

The cottages are all accessed from a gravel courtyard and look out over private terraces and a -beautiful garden with a pond. They offer comfortable accommodation with quality modern conveniences and everything you will need to enjoy your stay.

We welcome families and offer a range of onsite activities that will keep children occupied. Dogs are also welcome at Stainsborough. The cottage terraces have been fenced so that your dogs can go outside without fear of running away and provide some additional amenities for our doggy guests.

Our rural location makes us a great base for walking and cycling. You can access the 8-mile path around Carsington Water directly from our land or you can head up into the hills behind the house to enjoy some stunning scenery and great walks. For cyclists we are less than five minutes from the High Peak trail which connects with the Tissington trail. We also provide safe storage for cycles.
