The Old Hall Inn & The Paper Mill Inn

The Old Hall Inn & Paper Mill Inn are two award winning ale houses nestled in the quaint Peak District hamlet of Whitehough. The Old Hall is also highly regarded for its bustling restaurant that spills into the adjoining Elizabethan manor house, with its Minstrels Gallery and intimate dining rooms

We have a total of eleven rooms between the Old Hall Inn, Whitehough Hall and The Paper Mill Inn and one self catering cottage. All our rooms are en-suite, but all have different features whether it be a balcony over the garden, large shower vs bath & shower, twin beds, king size doubles and grand oak four poster beds. We are proud of our reputation for great local ales and have an amazing regular following, who are not only responsible for the wonderfull lively atmosphere you will find at the Old Hall, but also for allowing such an extensive selection of traditional hand pulled cask ales and ciders to be offered. 

Although we take our food offer very seriously, we are pleased to be seen first and foremost as a traditional ale house. The busling bar, and the informal, yet attentive service is testament to this. The Old Hall Inn has been awarded many CAMRA awards, including best pub in Derbyshire, and has won the Best Cask Pub in Region for four concective years in the ‘Great British Pub Awards’.
