The Westminster Hotel

The Westminster is a Victorian House which still retains many of its original features and characteristics. It is family run and this is reflected throughout by its homely, friendly feel. It enjoys an enviable position overlooking the Pavilion Gardens.

The House is within a few minutes stroll of the Opera House and Buxton itself, where various events are held, including the Gilbert and Sullivan Festival and Buxton Opera Festival.

Buxton is ideally situated in the Peak District National Park, offering a wonderful walking, cycling, caving and rock climbing environment.

All bedrooms (double/twin/family) at the Westminster Hotel are en-suite and are non- smoking. All 12 rooms are equipped with Tea and Coffee making Facilities that are restocked daily.
Wi-Fi High Speed internet access is available in all rooms.

Breakfast is served in the Dining room which overlooks the Broad Walk and beautiful lake views.
For those who have a healthy appetite a hearty English Breakfast will be served, along side a wide selection of juices, cereals and fresh fruits. Vegetarian options are also available and we are happy to cater to any special dietary requirements.

We offer a residents lounge for all our guests to relax and unwind in which is situated on the front of the house overlooking one of Buxton’s most peaceful views.

Guests can enjoy a game of chess or just simply enjoy the views.

The main entrance to The Westminster is from Broad Walk. Car Access and off road parking is to the rear of the hotel, from Hartington Road. Buxton railway station is a short taxi journey away.
