A spectacular Peak District location

Ladybower Reservoir is the largest of three dams in the Upper Derwent Valley, famed for being the location of the Dambuster training runs. 

The Upper Derwent Valley is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, with fabulous walks and cycle trails straight from the door of the Yorkshire Bridge Inn.  Cycles can be hired locally and stored in our covered storage area.  Fly fishing is also available on Ladybower Reservoir, and there are golf and horse-riding facilities nearby too.  The iconic Stanage Edge, a mecca for rock-climbing enthusiasts, is only a short drive away.

The Yorkshire Bridge Inn is also close to the historic houses of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall, and the market towns of Bakewell and Buxton are within easy reach.
