Sudbury Courtyard is a recently restored range of historic buildings, now open as retail shopping outlets and a café in the heart of Sudbury village.
It is sited next to the National Trust’s Sudbury Hall and Museum of Childhood which attracts over 200,000 visitors each year.
Sudbury is 2 minutes from the A50 (Derby/Stoke-on-Trent) and A515 (Lichfield/Buxton) junctions and is on SUSTRANS cycle route 549.
The conversion of Sudbury Courtyard has won two notable awards for design and craftsmanship: the Local Authority Building Control excellence award for the best small commercial project in the East Midlands (May 2017) and the Derbyshire Historic Buildings Trust architecture award for the best restoration of an historic building (November 2018).
