Fly Dressing

We hold Fly Dressing courses for all abilities, from the beginner who is just starting to the expert who wants to learn new techniques. Courses are normally held in our Stockport office, but we are happy to design a course around a group’s requirements.

Our staff are always pleased to offer advice and assistance. We always have a vice and materials cluttering the desk and its easier to show than to tell.

Competitions

We run and sponsor a series of open competitions on small stillwaters in the northwest of England and a boat competition on Stocks Reservoir.

Our competitions are fished by anglers of all abilities and offer a great opportunity to meet other anglers, visit new waters, pick up tips and ideas and, perhaps, even win some new tackle.

Our Hardy Dry Line Competition is held annually on Stocks Reservoir.

Anglers fish for four hours, have a one and a half hour lunch and barbeque and then fish for a further four hours.
