Hope Chest Deli

The Hope Chest Deli is located in the centre of the beautiful village of Hope, close to Castleton, Edale and Bradwell, in the heart of the Peak District.

Our aim is to bring you quality delicatessen produce, at a fair price, in a friendly and welcoming environment.

We have daily deliveries of the finest hand-baked bread from Roses Bakery, available to buy or to have made into one of our delicious sandwiches.

We make all our sandwiches fresh to order, just how you want it!  Our range of locally baked cakes, vanillas, custards and our range of home-made flapjacks are perfect for a lunchtime or teatime treat.

In our deli counter we stock the locally made Stanage Millstone, a brie like cheese made just down the road in Hathersage as well as the other Derbyshire made, award-winning cheeses from the Hartington Cheese Creamery, including the very popular, Hartington Stilton.

We also sell an excellent range of other cheeses mostly from the UK, but some from Europe too.  We also have a range of cooked meats, salami, a selection of olives and other anti-pasti, home-made mackerel pate and coleslaw, locally made award-winning pork pies, huntsman pies, quiches and a choice of savouries, including Peak Pasties (a Derbyshire version of a Cornish Pasty – not for the lighter appetite!).

We are also proud to sell Bradwells Ice-cream, in individual pots or larger ones to take home. Our favourite flavour is Salted Caramel! On our shelves we have an extensive range of: Jams, curds, honeys, pickles and chutneys; Speciality foods from around the world; Organic produce, whole foods and free-from; A range of coffee beans, including our own special blend, all of which can be freshly ground for you; Gifts and basketware Luxury biscuits from Roses the Bakers and others And last but definitely not least…… our chocolate and confectionary range, for gifts or just to indulge yourself!

We also make up hampers or can gift-wrap your purchases to make them extra special gifts!
