Locally sourced ingredients
Our dishes are freshly prepared from the best local ingredients we can lay our hands on – in fact one of the pub’s signature dishes is fresh trout which is line-caught in the Reservoir itself and travels just a few yards to our kitchen and onto your plate. You can’t get fewer food miles or more local than that! Other favourites include our delicious home-made steak and ale pie (made with Batemans beer of course).
There’s plenty to choose from for our menus for veggies and young guests too.
Join us for a plentiful Sunday roast and indulge yourself with Chef’s Double Chocolate Brownie or a Tart from all the way over the hill in Bakewell.

Easy dining
We’re not formal here at The Ladybower and you can sit and eat anywhere in the Inn, but it’s best to book a table to avoid disappointment. Whatever the occasion, you can expect a warm welcome.
