Welcome to Matlock Meadows Ice Cream Parlour, coffee shop and working dairy farm.

Visit our purpose built Ice Cream Parlour, which is tucked away in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales countryside. You can sit in the Ice Cream Parlour and enjoy our real dairy ice cream freshly made on the farm, using the quality farm assured milk from our own cows, which you may see grazing in the nearby fields.

Our ice cream is all hand made using the freshest locally sourced ingredients wherever possible and is available in a range of delicious flavours. Our friendly staff serve a selection of award winning Novus loose leaf Teas, freshly ground coffees and proper hot chocolate, also a selection of home made light lunches and afternoon teas Within the ice cream parlour we have a selection of local produce, giftware, books and toys including Tractor Ted books and DVD’s.

Matlock meadows are CEVAS accredited and are able to accommodate government funded school visits. We have a function room available to hire and can cater for your requirements – please email, ring or pop in for further details.

Our Ice Cream Parlour/coffee shop is a farm diversification project and is located within our real working dairy farm.

(Please note that we are not a petting farm) Our facilities include an outside play area, a classroom/meeting room, toddler soft play area, pedal tractors, toilets with baby changing and disabled facilities, free on site parking.

Patrons of the coffee shop/ice cream parlour are welcome to use the facilities and access to the animals free of charge however as we rely on the income generated from the coffee shop sales we only allow food and drink purchased on the premises to be consumed on site.
