Millie’s Tea Rooms & Chocolatier

Millie’s Tea Rooms & Chocolatier is situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Hayfield. We offer a warm welcome to our customers and a complimentary hand-made chocolate is served with every hot drink.

A friendly service is assured and we are proud to display our top 5 star rating from High Peak Borough Council’s Environmental Health.

A wide selection of home cooked food is available with a pie, quiche and soup of the day served alongside baguettes with assorted hot or cold fillings and our Farmhouse or Cottage breakfast to name but a few. Fresh cakes, tea loaves and cookies are also baked daily by our chef. We offer Cafeology Coffee from our Barista coffee machine, Fair-trade Tea and a selection of 8 speciality Teas.

A wide choice of cold drinks is available including bottles from Belvoir Fruit Farms, Buxton Water, Oasis and cartons of juice and Ribena.

Well behaved dogs are welcome with water provided.

High Chairs are available and there is room for buggys. Our toilet facilities are spacious for those requiring easier access and there are baby changing facilities too.

We take credit and debit card payments over £5.00 and Wifi is free.

Our own Chocolatier, Steve, makes hand-made chocolates on site. We have a wide selection of Dark, Milk and White Chocolates with delicious centres. Our traditional Rum Truffles and Pralines sit alongside chocolates with a modern twist such as Sea Salt Caramel Cup and Mandarine Cream in White Chocolate coated in Freeze Dried Mango.

Chocolates are sold individually by weight from our Chocolate Counter or in Ribbon Tied Gift Box selections and we can make Wedding Favours and other special party chocolates. Please talk to Steve for advice.

We cater for Children’s Party Teas midweek and Groups are very welcome by prior arrangement. Packed lunches are available for walkers and day trippers alongside takeaway drinks and cakes.
