Welcome to the Derwentwater Arms, Calver your friendly, local, family-run pub in the heart of the Derbyshire village of Calver. The pub stands overlooking the village and has a fine view of Calver cricket field.

Tom and Kat Keogh, who both hail from Calver, took over the Derwentwater Arms in June 2014 and are pleased to serve you a selection of fine local ales, carefully selected wines and spirits and delicious locally-sourced food.

We are now doing takeaway food.

The Big Pie Company

Here at the Derwentwater Arms we are very proud of our homemade delicious pork pies. Tom, the landlord loves munching on a good old pork pie and so when his Grandma passed down the family recipe, he dove at the chance to re-create this family classic—with a twist. The Derwentwater Arms is now infamous for its mouth wateringly good pies and started getting requests to create celebration pie cakes… So here we go – choose your filing and your size and place your order. You won’t be disappointed.

Our New Play Area

Our new play area is fully open, making the Derwentwater Arms a great place to bring the family and relax. Our thanks go to the many local tradesmen who helped build it. Francesca Willington won our drawing competition that we ran over the Summer with a picture of a map of her getting to and playing on the new play area. Well done and thank you Francesca
