The Peak Rail Stock Fund is a small independent fundraising group which acts in support of the Peak Railway project. We have raised money towards the puchase and transport of rails, sleepers, and rolling stock, especially in connection with the development of Rowsley Site.

Our latest venture is the commissioning of a two limited edition coal wagons from Messrs Dapol. These are 5 plank wagons, one in the livery of Tom Wright, coal merchant, of Darley Dale. The other is in the livery of Frank Lomas, the coal merchant of Bakewell. The details are taken from drawings in ‘Through Limestone Hills’ by Bill Hudson, and we are grateful to Bill for permission to use this material, and would recommend this excellent publications to anyone interested in the Midland Railway line from Ambergate to Chinley.

Any profits from these sales will be used towards volunteer projects on the Peak Railway.
