Jeremy Duffield

Jeremy Duffield has allowed us to feature some of his splendid poems, which can be found over the next few pages.

Jeremy was born in Alfreton and is still living in Derbyshire. He has been writing, mainly poetry, since the mid seventies, and for the last three years has also been writing plays.

Jeremy is currently one of the regional writers for the ‘Tale of Three Cities’ project, an Arts Council funded project linking Derby, Nottingham and Leicester. He is also chairman of Nottingham Poetry Society, and has given readings and facilitated workshops at Derby’s ‘Festival of Words’ .

Jeremy’s other interests include theatre, concerts, walking and photography.

Publications include ‘Danced by the Light of the Moon’ (now out of print); and ‘Oak Apples and Heavenly Kisses’ (Headland 2000)
