Kedleston

Kedleston is a village of civil parish in the Amber Valley district of Derbyshire and lies to the north-west of Derby. Nearby places include Weston Underwood, Quarndon, Muggington and Kirk Langley.

it was mentioned in the Domesday book belonging to Henry de Ferrers and having a mill and was valued 20 shilling. The village is the site of Kedleston Hall, the historic residence of the Curzon family and which is now run by the National trust.
