For non emergencies call Derbyshire police on 0345 123 3333.

We asked: What are the priorities in your neighbourhood?

You said: Anti-social behaviour and damage at the Nine Ladies Ancient Monument, Stanton.

We did: Worked with the land owner, local residents and Peak District National Park rangers over the last three years. As a result, through signage and a police protocol for dealing with incidents, anti-social behaviour has decreased. Although this will no longer be running as a policing priority it will still receive the attention and resources it requires, particularly at Solstice time.

You said: HGV’s contravening weight restrictions in Winster and Youlgrave.

We did: We have worked closely with residents and Trading Standards over the last two years and will continue to do so. At the last community meeting, on September 24th, it was agreed to extend this profile to encompass HGV’s which have also been contravening weight restrictions at The Dale at Sheldon.

Finally, as the darker nights draw in we ask parents to ensure they know what their children are doing and where they are. We have seen a small rise in incidents of anti-social behaviour in our area. Please report behaviour to us so it can be dealt with accordingly. Together we can keep our area a safe and peaceful place to live.

Sgt. Andy Wordsworth, PC Sandra Wetton, PCSO Dave Teare and SC John Tanner.
