Stone Edge is is a lovely little community and a pretty area of countryside with a stunning view across the valley to Chesterfield. It’s possible to see the infamous crooked spire, Chesterfield parish church on a clear day. This little village bears a reminder of the industrial past of the area, where lead mining was important to the Peak District.
