Tideswell Theatre was established in 2002 to bring great theatre, music, dance and comedy to the village, run by Tideswell Community Players.
The Players have been performing plays in this Peak District village since 1930.
As Tideswell Theatre it was a leading promoter for the rural touring scheme, Live and Local, bringing professional theatre, dance, music and comedy to the village since 2002 as well as contracting direct with performers.
After a break for a few years due to the loss of their venue, they are now bringing shows to the village again!
Tideswell Entertainment – Have agreed for Tideswell Cinema to come under Tideswell Theatre’s ‘umbrella’ (T’Ent) so they can provide more entertainment for the village. But please still contact 01298 871063 cinema@tideswell.net for information about forthcoming screenings.
